Cascades Female Factory Historic Site
A not for profit organisation at the Cascades Female Factory, built in 1828 for female convicts transported to Australia. Thousands of women passed through the site until its closure. The site is viewed as the most significant one in Australia telling the story of the forced migration of these women and has been nominated for World Heritage Listing.
Collections
The collection consists of various interesting archaeological artefacts gathered from the many archaeological digs on the site since 2000.
