Murray Arts
Murray Arts Inc. is a cross border professional community cultural development organisation based in Albury Wodonga. Our mission is to promote an environment in which Cultural Development and the Arts are valued, dynamic and sustainable throughout the region. Our role in the community is one of identifying opportunities that are not fulfilled by other cultural institutions and facilitation activities that meet these needs. Murray Arts is not artform specific and maintains a philosophy of supporting the establishment and maintenance of sustainable community infrastructure. Murray Arts is assisted by and works across six local government areas (Albury, Culcairn, Hume, Holbrook, Towong and Wodonga) and services a total population of 100,000. Our primary sources of funding and indeed the providers of core operational funds are: the shires of Culcairn, Hume, Holbrook, Towong and the cities of Albury,Wodonga and the NSW Ministry for the Arts
